Two quickfire goals at the start of the second half and a third in the closing minutes saw Dundee run out 3-0 winners at Dens Park and keep their promotion hopes alive.
Stirling playing in a 4-5-1 formation competed well in the first half and had as many efforts on goal as the home side although Dundee had the better of the chances.

Dundee Match
Stirling Albion head to Dens Park on Saturday to play a Dundee side battling it out with Division One leaders Hamilton for the one available promotion spot into the Scottish Premier League.

Relegation for Stirling Albion into Division Two was confirmed at Firhill last Tuesday evening after our 1-0 loss to Partick Thistle and Stirling will be up against a Dundee side knowing anything less than three points will seriously dent their promotion hopes.

The Binos have John Paul McBride available after suspension and have Andy Graham fit after his foot injury last week. Ross Forsyth is still out, while Ross Harris continues his fight back to full fitness.

10th April 2008 Injury News

Keegan's goal secured a 1-0 victory for Thistle on a wet evening in Glasgow. Stirling have three matches remaining in Division One before we prepare for life once again in Divison Two.

Having to avoid defeat to fight another day, it looked like Stirling's relegation battle was heading towards Saturday's match against Dundee, but Partick's late winner sealed our Division One fate in front of 1,149 fans at Firhill Stadium.

6th April 2008 Captain Corr Leads By Example
Stirling Albion's Liam Corr led his Scotland Under 18 Schoolboy International team by example in their recent Centenary Shield match against the Republic of Ireland in Athlone on Friday night as they fought back to win a vital away point.

Somewhat against the run of play the Scots found themselves two goals down at half time against an Irish team unbeaten at this age group over the years in over 40 games.
Stirling's centre back Don Morrison had another excellent performance at the heart of the Scotland defence as they worked hard to contain a strong home team.
Young Greg Munn who captains the Bino's 17's team was introduced at half time and, after a slightly nervous start, he settled to produce a sturdy performance.

Liam Corr started the Scotland comeback when, with around twenty minutes to play, he picked up a cut back on the left just inside the box. His fiercely driven shot beat the Irish keeper and gave the Scotland side a much needed boast.
With only a few minutes to play Corr fought for possession on the left just inside the Irish half then fired over a fantastic diagonal ball which freed team mate Kevin Ireland on the right. Ireland's first touch was terrific and his shot fired into the far corner to round off a spirited comeback from the Scotland team.

6th April 2008 Binos Must Avoid Firhill Defeat
Stirling Albion head to Partick Thistle's Firhill Stadium on Tuesday evening knowing a defeat will see us relegated to Division Two. A draw will see the Binos having to win all three remaining matches and hope Morton fail to take any points from their three remaining fixtures. Partick Boss Ian McCall has publicly stated he will field a young team on Tuesday as Thistle face Rangers in the Scottish Cup next weekend saying "We've got Stirling Albion in midweek and you can expect to see one of the youngest ever Thistle teams for that one."
Stirling will likely be unchanged from the squad that faced Queen of the South on Saturday.
Fans are reminded that Under 16's will be admitted free of charge to this match.
Kick off on Tuesday at Firhill is 7.30pm
5th April 2008 Graham Injury
Andy Graham suffered a kick to his right foot late in the match against Queen of the South on Saturday. The Dunoon based defender managed to finish the match, but with Stirling facing Partick on Tuesday night, physio Andy Myles will have to wait to see if theres any further damage or swelling over the next few days before he passes Graham fit to face Partick.
5th April 2008 Stalemate at Forthbank
Stirling Albion and Queen of the South fought out a goalless draw on Saturday at Forthbank Stadium in an uninspiring match.
With Stirling teetering on relegation and Queens having one eye their Scottish Cup semi final match with Aberdeen next weekend, both teams failed to generate any entertainment for the 641 fans inside the stadium.
In the relegation battle, Stirling are now 10 points adrift of second bottom Morton who currently sit in the play off position and with only 4 matches remaining for The Binos, a defeat at the hands of Partick Thistle on Tuesday night at Firhill, will see us relegated into Division Two.
