David McFarlane has advised his Board colleagues that he is stepping down from his position as Director with immediate effect.
David further commented: “I intimated a year ago that I would be retiring from the Executive Board of SAFC this season and I have decided to stand down now.
“It has been a privilege to work for the Club for the last eight years and I am proud of what we have achieved in that time. I appreciate the friendship, help and support that I have received in that time and wish you all the best in the constant aim to get promotion and further success for Stirling Albion.”
On behalf of everyone associated with Stirling Albion, we thank David for his unrivalled work ethic and the genuine warmth of his friendship to anyone who shares his passion for our Club. Fear not, David’s love affair with the Binos is far from over and he will remain actively involved in commercial activities.
