We welcome Clyde to Forthbank on Tuesday evening, kick-off 7.45pm, for a game that was postponed due to a frozen pitch on Saturday February 2.
Stirling have slipped seven points behind fourth-placed Annan after back-to-back defeats to Elgin and Peterhead so we are looking to get back on track against the Bully Wee.
Kevin Rutkiewicz: “The industry and endeavour was certainly there against Peterhead but we maybe lacked a bit of belief at times. There was nothing in the game but they produced a moment of quality for the goal.”
Team news: Long-term absentees Lee Hamilton and Kevin Moon remain sidelined. Striker Peter MacDonald and defenders Evan Horne and Jordan McGregor also missed out at the weekend and this game is likely to come too soon.
Opponents: Clyde are unbeaten in 14 matches since losing to Peterhead at the end of October. Danny Lennon’s side are third in the table, five points behind leaders Edinburgh City with a game in hand. They drew 1-1 with Queen’s Park at Hampden on Saturday when David Goodwillie marked his return from injury with a goal after coming on as a substitute.
Past meetings: Clyde were 3-0 winners at Forthbank in August thanks to an Ally Love double and a David Goodwillie goal. It was 1-1 at Broadwood in November – Danny Jardine opened the scoring but Dylan Cogill equalised in the last minute.
