Stirling Albion head for the North East on Saturday looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit against Peterhead in the second leg of the League 1 play-off semi-final. The winners will face Queen’s Park or Stenhousemuir – who are level at 1-1 – in the final.
Rules: There is no away goals rule in the play-offs. Extra time and penalties, if required, will determine the outcome if the aggregate scores are level.
Team news: Striker Andy Little remains on the sidelines and midfielder Kevin Moon is a doubt after going off with a tight hamstring at half-time on Wednesday. Defender Lee Hamilton has been struggling with a foot problem and will be assessed ahead of the game.
Previous meetings: We won 4-2 at Balmoor back in August thanks to an outstanding performance and first-half goals from Callumn Morrison, Darren Smith (2) and Ross Kavanagh. Peterhead gained revenge with a 4-3 victory on a gale-lashed afternoon in January when Darren Smith bagged another double and Willie Robertson was also on target.
Form: Peterhead are on a run of seven straight wins after Mason Robertson scored the only goal at Forthbank on Wednesday. We have gone eight matches without a win since beating Elgin City 2-0 at Borough Briggs on Tuesday March 20.
Referee: Barry Cook
Admission: Adults £12, Concessions £6, U12s free. Stand admission is £14 & £8. Tickets for all areas must be purchased at the ticket office before approaching the turnstiles
Travel: Fans are reminded to leave plenty time for their journey due to roadworks on the A90. Aberdeen’s home game against Hibernian could also impact on the traffic.
Weather: Looking good. Bright and mild but breezy
