Stirling Albion make the short journey to Broadwood to play Clyde on Saturday knowing a win will guarantee us a play-off place next month.
We go into the game looking to get back on track after a poor run of two draws and two defeats in our last four matches.
Team news: Skipper Willie Robertson serves a one-match ban after being sent off in last week’s 5-0 defeat to Montrose. Fellow midfielder Andy Black trained this week after two months out with a broken collarbone and is added to the squad but top scorer Darren Smith is rated 50/50. Binos boss Dave Mackay hopes to have everyone else available.
Previous meetings: It was 1-1 on our last visit to Broadwood in November when a late penalty from David Goodwillie cancelled out Darren Smith’s opener. Clyde were deserved 3-2 winners at Forthbank in September but we gained revenge with a 2-1 victory in February when Peter MacDonald scored the winner.
Opponents: Clyde are sixth in the table, three points outside the play-offs but fourth-placed Stenhousemuir have two games in hand. They have been transformed since Danny Lennon took over in November and have lost just once at home in League 2 during that time but recent away defeats to Peterhead and Cowdenbeath have dented their promotion hopes.
Referee: Steven Kirkland
Admission: Adults £13, Seniors, Students & U18s £8, U12s free
Weather: Much milder than of late but beware the Broadwood micro-climate!
