Stirling Albion play their seventh game in 22 days when we head for Borough Briggs on Saturday to take on Elgin City for the second time this month.
Dave Mackay’s men were held to a 2-2 draw by Edinburgh City in midweek but we are nine points clear of fourth-placed Clyde and have lost just one of our last 11 matches.
Team news: Andy Black, Andy Little and George Stanger are all ruled out. Darren Barr is also missing but could be available for the Montrose match next weekend. Skipper Willie Robertson is back after a one-match ban and Lee Hamilton could return after missing the Edinburgh City game in midweek with a hip injury.
Previous meetings: Willie Robertson and Lee Hamilton scored in the second half as we claimed a 2-0 win at Borough Briggs on Tuesday March 20. The two meetings at Forthbank this season produced a 2-2 draw in September and a 3-1 Stirling success in early February.
Opponents: Elgin earned an impressive 2-0 win over play-off rivals Stenhousemuir at Ochilview last weekend and drew 2-2 away to Berwick Rangers on Tuesday, when a late equaliser denied them victory. Gavin Price’s men are sixth in the table, one point behind fourth-placed Clyde. They finish the season with games against the top two of Peterhead and Montrose.
