Stirling Albion’s run of midweek games continues on Tuesday when we welcome Edinburgh City to Forthbank, kick-off 7.45pm.
We go into the match – which was postponed due to snow on Tuesday February 27 – on the back of a 2-2 draw with Cowdenbeath and looking good for the play-offs after just one defeat in the last 10 outings.
Team news: Skipper Willie Robertson misses out due to a one-game ban and the match is likely to come too soon for top scorer Darren Smith and midfielder George Stanger. Striker Andy Little should be available after missing the Cowdenbeath game with a calf knock.
Previous meetings: It was 2-2 at Ainslie Park on March 17 when Danny Jardine and Neil McLaughlin scored our goals, with Scott Shepherd and Gareth Rodger netting for the hosts. We won 2-1 in the capital in November and ran out 2-0 winners at Forthbank back in August.
Opponents: James McDonaugh’s men are eighth in the table, 10 points clear of bottom club Cowdenbeath. Edinburgh City have played twice since our recent meeting – losing 3-0 at home to in-form Clyde and drawing 1-1 with Berwick Rangers at Shielfield on Saturday.
Referee: Craig Napier
Admission: Adults £13, Seniors & Students £9, U16s £5, U12s free!
