Stirling Albion host Cowdenbeath on Saturday in part one of a Forthbank double header that sees Edinburgh City visit on Tuesday evening.
We go into the game on the back of a 2-0 win at Elgin in midweek, which extended our excellent recent run to seven wins, one draw and just one defeat in the last nine matches.
Team news: Binos boss Dave Mackay is likely to name the same squad as Tuesday, with top scorer Darren Smith and midfielders Andy Black and George Stanger still sidelined.
Previous meetings: The last meeting at Forthbank was at the end of January when a Jamie Pyper own goal earned us a 1-0 win in a game of few chances. Peter MacDonald bagged a late winner in a 2-1 away victory last month and it was 3-0 Stirling at Central Park in October.
Opponents: Cowdenbeath have won their last two matches – beating Elgin City 3-1 at Central Park last weekend and Stenhousemuir 2-1 at Ochilview on Tuesday to close the gap on second-bottom Berwick Rangers to nine points. Gary Bollan’s men have four home games in a row coming up, beginning with Clyde on Tuesday night.
