Stirling Albion to deliver Football Fans in Training!
Are you aged 35-65 years old?
Is your waist size at least 38 inches?
Do you want to lose weight, get fitter and healthier at your local club?
Then this is the programme for you!
Football Fans in Training (FFIT) is a 12-week course aimed at men and women looking to make small changes to their lifestyle and to improve their health and wellbeing.
The initiative is funded through the SPFL Trust and the Binos will be delivering it for the first time this year! At Scottish clubs last season, on average, men lost 5.82kg in weight and 10.05cm to their waist during the 12 weeks.
FFIT is completely FREE to participants and aims to:
- Increase knowledge of diet and nutrition
- Improve lifestyle choices
- Increase physical activity amongst participants
- Reduce weight and waist measurements
- Increase engagement in other physical activity
Every session will look at a topic to help improve the health and lifestyle of participants as well as some moderate physical activity. The sessions will be delivered by trained Stirling Albion coaches.
Stirling Albion will be running a men’s FFIT on Wednesdays from 6.30-8.00pm at Forthbank Stadium. The introductory session, known as “Week Zero”, will take place on Wednesday 14 March and will collect participants’ data and measurements.
Men taking part on the course are required to meet criteria set by the SPFL Trust – aged between 35 and 65 years old and have a waist size of at least 38 inches.
If you would like to book your FREE place on Stirling Albion’s first ever FFIT programme, then please get in touch with Andy Todd on 01786 450399 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Places are very limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
