Stirling Albion return to action after a weekend off with a home game against Clyde on Saturday.
We have a two-point lead over Montrose at the top of the Ladbrokes League 2 table and are going for a fifth straight win, having beaten Peterhead 4-2 at Balmoor a fortnight ago.
Team news: We are again without striker Andy Little and midfielder Sean Dickson. Midfield pair Willie Robertson and Connor McMullan both got run-outs in Tuesday’s U20 game against Raith Rovers.
Previous meetings: The most recent encounter was at Broadwood at the end of March when a Darren Smith double and a Ross Kavanagh goal saw us come from behind to win 3-2. The first two meetings last season both ended 1-1 then Dylan Bikey scored twice as we swept to a 3-0 victory at Forthbank in January. Clyde gained revenge in the Scottish Cup, with David Gormley bagging a hat-trick in a 3-2 replay success after a 2-2 draw at Forthbank.
Opponents: Clyde have scored in all nine of their matches across three competitions but are yet to keep a clean sheet. They have picked up four points so far and drew 1-1 with Stenhousemuir in their last outing. Manager Jim Chapman made the move from Annan during the summer and brought several players with him, including Smart Osadolor, Max Wright and Blair Currie. There’s been a big turnover at Broadwood but former Scotland striker David Goodwillie signed a new deal.
