A strong Alloa team came out on top in a friendly match at the Indodrill Stadium on Tuesday evening thanks to second-half goals from Declan McDonald and Ryan Hoggan.
The Wasps forced a number of good saves from Cammy Binnie, who was eventually beaten after 73 and 77 minutes as the hosts claimed a deserved win.
Trialist Cammy McClair hit the bar for the Binos when the score was 0-0 but the bulk of the chances fell to Jim Goodwin’s men.
Binos boss Dave Mackay made several changes to the team that lost to Motherwell at the weekend, with only Binnie, Steven Noble and trialist Lee Hamilton starting again.
