Stirling Albion make the short journey to Broadwood on Saturday to play Clyde as we seek a sixth straight win for the first time since 2006/07.
We are unbeaten in seven matches since losing to Montrose on February 4 and have conceded just one goal in the five-match winning run, with our most recent victory over Annan leaving Dave Mackay’s men seven points outside the play-offs with seven matches remaining.
Team news: Full-back Liam Caddis is available again after a one-match ban but midfield trio Calvin Colquhoun, Willie Robertson and Jack McCue remain on the injury list. The game is also likely to come too soon for skipper Ross McMillan but striker Andy Little could return to the squad.
Previous meetings: Clyde deservedly beat us 3-2 at Broadwood in a Scottish Cup fourth-round replay at the end of January thanks to a David Gormley hat-trick, with both our goals coming from Blair Henderson penalties, after the first game ended 2-2. The opening two League 2 encounters both ended 1-1 but we coasted to a 3-0 home win in early January, helped by a Dylan Bikey double.
Opponents: Clyde have Peter MacDonald and Jon Paul McGovern in interim charge of the team following the recent departure of Barry Ferguson. The Bully Wee beat Edinburgh City 3-1 at Broadwood last weekend to claim their first league win since November but were beaten 2-0 by bottom club Cowdenbeath on Tuesday – they are ninth in the table, four points above the Blue Brazil.
