Stirling Albion begin a big week with a home game on Saturday against an Edinburgh City side one point and one place below us in the Ladbrokes League 2 table.
We face Elgin City in a rearranged fixture at Forthbank on Tuesday evening then travel to Central Park to face bottom club Cowdenbeath next weekend.
Team news: Our injury problems continue, with central defenders Ross McMillan and Frazer Wright ruled out. Midfielders Willie Robertson and Jack McCue are also sidelined, as is on-loan Hearts winger Callumn Morrison.
Previous meetings: It finished 1-1 at Forthbank in September when we paid the price for missing some good chances. Ross McMillan opened the scoring but Ross Allum equalised late on for City. The Lowland League champions coasted to a 2-0 victory at Meadowbank in December thanks to goals from Ouzy See and Dougie Gair – a result that saw us drop to the foot of the table.
Opponents: Gary Jardine’s men took time to find their feet in the SPFL and had to wait until November for their first win, which sparked a fine run of form. However, since winning at Berwick on Hogmanay, City have lost four of their six games, drawing the other two. They were denied a win over Montrose last weekend when Josh Walker’s goal was cancelled out in the last minute.
