Stirling Albion are pleased to confirm that Willie Robertson has signed a contract until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old former Dundee United and Alloa Athletic midfielder initially joined us in the summer of 2014 before leaving in April 2016. He moved to Annan in July but left Galabank in October and played the maximum three games permitted as a trialist before putting pen to paper when the window opened.
His return to Forthbank is likely to be the first of several January arrivals and manager Dave Mackay hopes to have further signing news ahead of Saturday’s home game with Clyde.
Meanwhile, winger Tommy McAllister has left the club following a spell on loan at Linlithgow Rose. He was part of the U20 side that won the Development League East last season and made one first-team appearance, as a substitute at Elgin in August 2015. We wish him well for the future.
