Stirling Albion face a vital game against Annan Athletic at Forthbank on Saturday, kick-off 3.00pm, after we slipped to the foot of the table last weekend.
We have won just once at home in Ladbrokes League 2 this season – against Montrose in August – and went down 2-0 to Edinburgh City at Meadowbank Stadium last week.
Team news: Midfielder Jack McCue and winger Moses Olanrewaju remain on the sidelines but otherwise manager Dave Mackay has a full squad to choose from.
Previous meetings: Annan won 3-2 at Galabank on the opening day of the season despite us taking an early lead through Sean Dickson. A Ross Forsyth og, David McKenna and Aidan Smith turned things round before half-time and the hosts held on despite Marc McKenzie pulling one back after the break. We won 1-0 at Forthbank 12 months ago thanks to a Phil Johnston goal when Annan were top of the table and we also triumphed 2-1 at home in April.
Opponents: Jim Chapman’s side are fifth in the table, five points outside the play-offs and the same distance off the foot of the table. They beat Cowdenbeath 2-0 at Galabank last weekend but lost 5-1 at leaders Forfar on Tuesday night and have won just once on their travels.
