Martyn Corrigan remains in caretaker charge for Saturday’s match against Clyde at Broadwood as the second quarter of the Ladbrokes League 2 campaign gets under way.
We go into the game against Barry Ferguson’s men on the back of a 3-0 win at Linlithgow in the Scottish Cup and having kept three clean sheets in a row – Cowdenbeath (2-0) and Berwick (0-0) were our last two league fixtures.
Team news: Midfielder Angus Beith is added to the squad after joining on a month’s loan from Hearts. Left-back Ross Forsyth remains sidelined with a knee problem and forward Darren Smith is also ruled out. Centre-half Ross Smith is free of suspension but is likely to miss out through injury. Dylan Easton and Jordan Lowdon are both long-term absentees for Clyde.
Opponents: Clyde had a good 2-0 win away to Highland League Brora Rangers in the Scottish Cup and will play Arbroath in the third round. Barry Ferguson’s side are third in the table, four points behind leaders Forfar. They beat Edinburgh City 1-0 at Meadowbank Stadium in their last league outing on October 15.
Past meetings: It was 1-1 at Forthbank back in August when Ross Forsyth cancelled out a Sean Higgins goal but Clyde won three of the four meetings last season. Each of the last five games between the sides have produced a red card – Ross Smith (twice), Craig Comrie, Mark Staunton and Mark McLaughlin were all sent off.
