Winger Moses Olanrewaju is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday’s 4-1 defeat against Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Forfar Athletic.
The 20-year-old was able to play on at Station Park but an X-ray on Monday has revealed a small fracture, which is likely to keep him out for a number of weeks.
Binos boss Stuart McLaren said: “It’s a blow for Moses and for the club. He played very well on Saturday and is a player who can cause problems for defences. We have big games coming up and it would have been good to have him available.”
McLaren also confirmed that Ross Forsyth faces around a month out with a knee injury sustained in the 1-1 draw with Edinburgh City 10 days ago.
He added: “It’s difficult to put an exact timescale on how long Ross will be missing for – it will just be a case of monitoring things on a weekly basis – but it’s obviously very disappointing to be without such an experienced player.”
