Stirling Albion welcome Edinburgh City to Forthbank on Saturday for our first match since losing 5-3 to Arbroath at Gayfield on August 27.
We have already beaten Montrose and drawn with Clyde at home this season, on top of victories against Falkirk and Elgin City in the Betfred Cup.
Team news: Darren Petrie came through Tuesday’s U20 game against Cowdenbeath after several weeks out with a knee injury so Binos boss Stuart McLaren has a full squad to choose from for the first time this season.
Previous meetings: We faced Edinburgh City in a Scottish Cup tie at Meadowbank Stadium in December 2006, winning 1-0 thanks to an early Steven Bell goal, before being thrashed by Inverness Caley Thistle in the next round.
Opponents: The Lowland League champions were promoted to the SPFL after beating Cove Rangers and East Stirlingshire in the play-offs. Gary Jardine’s men are still looking for their first point in Ladbrokes League 2 after narrow home defeats to Forfar and Berwick and losses on their travels to Elgin and Cowdenbeath.
