We begin our Ladbrokes League 2 campaign against Annan Athletic at Galabank on Saturday before back-to-back home games versus Clyde and Montrose. Stirling Albion are a 12/1 shot to go on and take the title, with the bookies making Clyde the favourites.
Team news: Ross McGeachie and Aurelien Mazel, who have yet to feature this season, both trained fully on Thursday night and are available for selection. The game comes too soon for Darren Petrie but he should be OK for the Clyde match. Ross Smith is suspended and a decision will be taken on keeper Chris Smith on Saturday.
Opening day: We lost 1-0 to Clyde at Forthbank 12 months ago and drew 1-1 at Peterhead two years ago. We kicked off 2013/14 with a 2-1 victory at Montrose and thrashed Annan 5-1 at Forthbank on the opening day the previous season.
Opponents: Annan beat East Stirlingshire in the Betfred Cup last weekend, having earlier lost to Stranraer, Motherwell and Rangers in Group F. They have lost a number of players during the summer but Jim Chapman has also been busy recruiting – with former Binos Willie Robertson and David McKenna among the arrivals.
Past meetings: We had a good record against Annan last season, winning twice at Forthbank and drawing both games at Galabank. The most recent meeting saw us win 2-1 in April with goals from Moses Olanrewaju and Ross Kavanagh.
