We are delighted to announce that winger Moses Olanrewaju has signed a professional contract with Stirling Albion for the remainder of this season and 2016/17.
The 19-year-old joined in the summer as part of the U20 squad – his impressive performances saw him rewarded with a first-team debut in the 1-1 draw at Arbroath last month and he has now made six appearances.
Binos boss Stuart McLaren said: “I am extremely pleased not just with Moses’ on-field performances for the Under 20s, and more recently the first team, but also his work ethic and general demeanour around the club and on the training pitch. I very much look forward to working with him to ensure he fulfils his undoubted potential.”
Chairman Stuart Brown added: “I’m delighted that Moses has agreed terms with us, particularly as he fully appreciates that he is in the ‘right hands’ and the right environment to best progress his development. He is an exciting prospect and I look forward to observing his progress during his time with Stirling Albion.
“This is another success story – alongside Cammy Binnie, David Verlaque and Scott Burns – for the new approach and culture introduced with our Under 20s at the start of the season and I’m confident there will be more to come as we build for next season and beyond.”
