Stirling Albion have landed a Ladbrokes League 2 awards double for December.
Stuart McLaren was voted Manager of the Month and Darren Smith was named Player of the Month on the back of three wins out of four.
Albion earned Forthbank victories over current leaders Elgin City and Annan Athletic, who were top at the time, as well as winning away to Montrose.
Stirling picked up more points than any other League 2 side during December and our only blip was the Boxing Day defeat to East Fife.
Smith, who has battled back from a knee injury that saw him miss much of last season and the beginning of 2015/16, scored a hat-trick in the 3-1 win at Montrose.
The former Motherwell and Stenhousemuir forward was also on target against Elgin and set up the winner for Phil Johnston in the victory over Annan.
The Ladbrokes monthly awards are voted for by members of the Scottish media, with a Manager and a Player of the Month selected for each of the four divisions.
