Stirling Albion are in William Hill Scottish Cup action on Tuesday evening when we take on East Fife at Forthbank in a second-round replay, kick-off 7.30pm.
Extra time and penalties, if necessary, will settle the tie and the winners will be at home to Lowland League side Cumbernauld Colts in round three on Saturday November 28.
Team news: Midfielder Willie Robertson is again suspended but Craig Comrie is available after his one-match ban. Defender Ross Smith is out of the cup replay and the trip to Berwick after his red card in the last minute of Saturday’s 0-0 draw with East Stirlingshire. Phil Johnston, Craig Beattie and Salim Kouider-Aissa remain on the injury list. David Sinclair – who made his debut on Saturday – is ineligible as Scottish Cup rules state that players must be registered at the time of the original tie. U20 winger Moses Olanrewaju is set to be added to the squad.
Opponents: East Fife were beaten 1-0 by leaders Annan at Bayview on Saturday to slip to third in the table but Gary Naysmith’s men retain the best defensive record in Ladbrokes League 2.
Past meetings: We have already drawn twice at Bayview this season – it was 0-0 in the Scottish Cup tie and 1-1 in Ladbrokes League 2 when Nathan Austin’s opener was cancelled out by Willie Robertson.
