Hearts are our visitors on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.30pm, in the Supporters Direct Cup.
Tynecastle boss Robbie Neilson has promised to bring his first-team squad to Forthbank as they continue to build for the 2015/16 campaign. This is our first public friendly, following closed-door games against Stranraer (1-1), Livingston (0-2) and Queen of the South (2-1).
Opponents: Hearts beat Bohemians 2-0 and Shelbourne 4-2 in Dublin before defeating Raith Rovers 2-0 at Stark’s Park. A young side went down 2-0 to Dumbarton on Thursday while Hearts won the Oban Tournament at the weekend. The Jambos are away to Cowdenbeath tomorrow, travel to Preston on Saturday and face Everton at Tynecastle on Sunday July 26. They begin the new season with a League Cup tie at home to Arbroath on Thursday July 30 and entertain St Johnstone in the Ladbrokes Premiership three days later. Robbie Neilson has so far signed up Blazej Augustyn (Gornik Zabrze), Gavin Reilly (Queen of the South) and Juanma Delgado (Kalloni).
Squad: We have made six new signings over the summer and manager Stuart McLaren is still seeking to add a striker to his squad so a couple of trialists may feature. The new boys are goalkeeper Chris Smith (Stenhousemuir), defenders Ross McMillan (Stenhousemuir), Mark Staunton (Irvine Meadow) and Ross Smith (Peterhead) and midfielders Jon Paul McGovern (Ayr) and Sean Dickson (East Fife).
Admission: Adults £12; Seniors, Students & U17s £5; U12s FREE
