Stirling Albion defeated Queen of the South 2-1 in a friendly match on the artificial pitch at Stirling University on Saturday afternoon.
It was a good performance from Stuart McLaren’s side, who went ahead through a Darren Brownlie own goal after 15 minutes.
James Fowler’s team, who were without former Binos Derek Lyle and Iain Russell, equalised through Lewis Kidd shortly before the break. Substitute Phil Johnston scored a well-taken winner in the second half.
Kevin McKinlay and Darren Lee Smith missed out due to minor knocks while Mark Staunton, Ross Forsyth and Willie Robertson were unavailable.
