The dates and participating clubs for the 2015/16 William Hill Scottish Cup were confirmed this week.
Changes to the entry criteria – agreed at the Scottish FA AGM last month – mean the winners of the Scottish Amateur Cup (Harestanes FC), East of Scotland League (Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale) and South of Scotland League (Wigtown and Bladnoch) are granted entry.
Stirling Albion go into the competition in the second round on October 24 and we also have no league fixture on third-round weekend, which is November 28.
The last 32 – when the Premiership clubs and the top four from last season’s Championship come in – has reverted to its traditional January slot, having been played at the end of November/early December in recent years.
