Our next match in League 1 is against Ayr United at Somerset Park on Saturday, who parted company with manager Mark Roberts on Monday.
Ayr made an excellent start to the season, taking 10 points out of 12 in August – a run that included an impressive 3-1 victory at Forthbank.
However, a sequence of five straight league defeats has seen the Honest Men, who lost 3-2 at home to Stenhousemuir on Saturday, slip to second from bottom.
Our 2-1 reverse at Forfar means we are eight points adrift at the foot of the table as we seek only our second victory in League 1 this season.
Stirling Albion’s last visit to Somerset Park ended in a 3-1 defeat in April 2009 and you have to go back to December 2005 for our last win there – Andy Graham, John Fraser, Chris Hay, Paddy Connolly and Chris Aitken all scored in a thrilling 5-2 triumph.
Admission prices for Saturday’s game are £15 for adults, £8 for senior citizens, U16s & students and £18 for a parent & child.
