Chris Paton has rejoined our Development squad after returning to Scotland from a spell in the United States.
Chris was a prolific scorer for the U19 team in the early part of last season and was rewarded with a first-team debut as a substitute against Montrose in October 2013.
The 19-year-old moved to the USA in January but is now back at Forthbank and U20 coach Graeme Donald said: “Obviously David Binnie and I are saddened things didn’t work out for Chris for various reasons but we are absolutely delighted he decided to come back to Stirling Albion.
“We really do believe he is an excellent prospect and we have every confidence that he will become a first-team player in the very near future.
“It’s been a hard few months for Chris but hopefully he will kick on and fulfil his potential here at Stirling. He is an exciting player with fantastic skill and trickery and is someone who I think will excite the fans. He now has to knuckle down, work hard and prove to the new management team that he can be a first-team player.”
