Everyone at Stirling Albion Football Club would like to wish striker Jordan White all the best after he signed for Livingston this afternoon.
The 22-year-old joined us from Falkirk in September 2012, initially on loan, and scored on his debut in a 4-1 defeat at Berwick.
He was top scorer with 15 goals in his first season, a tally that included a four-goal haul in our record 9-1 league win over East Stirlingshire in March 2013.
Last season he played in all 46 of our matches, starting 45 of them, and netted a total of 23 goals. He claimed a hat-trick in the thrilling 5-3 win at Annan in the play-off semi-final before making the crucial breakthrough against East Fife in the final.
We were obviously keen to re-sign Jordan for season 2014/15 but the lure of full-time football understandably proved too strong.
Binos boss Greig McDonald said: “As you may have seen, Jordan White has secured a full-time contract with Championship side Livingston after a compensation package was agreed.
“Jordan goes with our thanks for his efforts during his time with us and everyone at Stirling Albion wishes him well for the future.”
