Binos boss Greig McDonald believes his three new signings – keeper Greg Paterson, defender Craig Wedderburn and midfielder Darren Smith – will be big assets for our League 1 campaign.
The trio were unveiled at the weekend and McDonald expects more new arrivals before the season gets under way next month.
He said: “I’m delighted that we have added Greg, Craig and Darren to the squad and we hope to add further new faces over the coming weeks.
“Greg trained with us during last pre-season but due to work commitments at the time was unable to join. He has worked with our goalkeeping coach David Westwood previously and had a great season for East Fife last year in League 1.
“Craig is a 6ft 4 inch centre-half who is aggressive in the air and comfortable with the ball at his feet. He was forced to drop out of the senior ranks temporarily due to an injury during his time at Clyde but he was fantastic last year for St Andrews. He has a great attitude and I’m sure he will do well for us.
“Since leaving Forthbank, Darren has scored 20 plus goals for Stenhousemuir in the last two seasons and, as our supporters know, he will bring pace, energy and versatility to our midfield.”
