Stirling Albion will play Hibernian in a friendly match on Sunday July 20, kick-off 2pm.
We are delighted that new Hibs manager Alan Stubbs has agreed to bring his first-team squad to Forthbank the weekend before the season kicks off with the first round of the Challenge Cup.
Binos boss Greig McDonald said: “We already have a game down at Selkirk on the Saturday but the opportunity to face a first-team Hibs squad on our own ground was too good to pass up.
“I’m keen to get the players as much game time as possible before the season gets under way and hopefully this also proves an attractive fixture for the supporters.”
Admission prices have been set at £10 for adults, £5 for seniors & students, £2 for U17s and FREE for U12s. Season tickets are not valid.
SAFC Chairman Stuart Brown said: “I appreciate that the adult admission is a bit higher than we would traditionally charge for friendlies but we’ve been assured by Hibernian that they will be bringing their first-team squad to Forthbank.
“Discussions have already taken place with Police Scotland and I trust fans will understand that there will additional costs involved.
“We’ve kept all other prices as low as possible and I hope fans of both teams will be encouraged by this and make it a family day out.”
