Stirling Albion Football Club have announced Dron & Dickson as the new back-of-shirt club sponsor in a two-year deal for our new bespoke Macron home kit.
Main club sponsor Prudential will continue to have their name on the front of both the home and away shirts but this sponsorship will see the Dron & Dickson logo adorn the back of the home shirt, which has been redesigned as part of the club’s upcoming 70th year anniversary in 2015.
The kit takes on a modern twist with an iconic Albion design, seeing the return of two red hoops against a white background, previously featured in 1957-1965.
Commenting on the deal, Stirling Albion chairman Stuart Brown said: “I am delighted to welcome Dron & Dickson as sponsors of our 70th anniversary kit, which our team will be proudly wearing for the next two seasons.
“Dron & Dickson managing director Colin Rowley is a familiar face at Forthbank Stadium in his capacity as a Binos fan and his support, in every sense of the word, is greatly appreciated.
“I look forward to developing our working partnership with Dron & Dickson to the mutual benefit of both parties and sharing match day experiences in the company of Colin, his family and his colleagues at Forthbank.”
Incorporated in 1927 and headquartered in Stirling, Dron & Dickson is recognised as a global leader in the design, supply and maintenance of hazardous area electrical equipment and has a network of bases in Stirling, Aberdeen, Hull, Lowestoft, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Brazil.
Colin Rowley, Dron & Dickson managing director, added: “I am thrilled that Dron & Dickson will be embarking upon the sponsorship of Stirling Albion. I am a lifelong fan of the club and admire the way they perform both on and off the pitch.
“Stirling Albion’s significant involvement and investment in the community also reflects Dron & Dickson’s commitment to supporting the local area. Although operating internationally, we are keen to show that we remain true to our roots.
“This is such an exciting time for the club and I am looking forward to watching their continued progress, both on and off the pitch, for many seasons to come.”
