More than 100 children attended the two weeks of Easter football camps at Forthbank run by Active Stirling and Stirling Albion. Youngsters enjoyed days full of fun games, skill challenges, football matches and other fun activities!
Bino the Bear made some surprise appearances at the sessions and there were Stirling Albion prizes to be won, with every child receiving a ticket to the game against Elgin City on April 19.
Mini Kickers (3-4 yrs) took part 10am-11am, Goal Getters (5-6 yrs) 9am-12 noon and Football Skills (7-14 yrs) 9am-4pm during both weeks at the beginning of April.
SAFC Community Engagement Manager Andy Todd said: “It was great to see so many kids enjoying their Easter holidays down at Forthbank playing football. Sandy (Cunningham) did a fantastic job leading the programme, as did all the coaches with their delivery.
“The Easter camps have shown a lot of promise going forward with the holiday camps and regular classes being a strong partnership between Active Stirling and Stirling Albion. A lot of the children also attended the game against Elgin City, which was great to see, and hopefully they all enjoyed the game!”
