We go into Saturday’s home game with Elgin City in third place in League 2, above Clyde on goal difference and five points ahead of fifth-placed Berwick Rangers. Barry Wilson’s nine-man Elgin were undone by two late goals in a 3-1 home defeat to Berwick last time out.
Team news: Skipper Jamie Bishop is suspended and fellow defender Brian Allison is a long-term absentee. Elgin pair Jamie Duff and Sean Crighton, both sent off last week, are free to play after the club successfully appealed their red cards on Thursday.
Facts and figures: We are seeking a fourth straight win, having notched up three victories on the trot for the first time since April 2010. David Weatherston has scored four goals in his last three games while Jordan White is up to 16 for the season after netting at Cliftonhill last week. Elgin won their last away game 3-0 at Montrose and have scored in each of their last seven matches.
Recent meetings: It was 1-1 when the teams met in a midweek match at Forthbank last month, with Craig Gunn equalising late on after Sandy Cunningham had opened the scoring. We stormed back to win 3-2 at Borough Briggs in February but lost 4-0 there in September. Elgin held the upper hand last season, winning twice to our once, with one draw.
