Binos boss Greig McDonald felt justice was done when Jordan White headed a 94th-minute equaliser for his 11th goal of the season to earn us a 1-1 draw against Annan at Forthbank on Saturday.
Scott Davidson fired the visitors in front with a terrific early goal but White levelled after Annan defender Peter Watson had been sent off for a reckless tackle on Mark Ferry.
McDonald said: “In the circumstances we have to be happy with a point but, to be honest, I felt it was the minimum we deserved.
“It was a great goal from Scott Davidson to give Annan the lead but it’s yet another team who have come to Forthbank and just tried to sit in and frustrate it.
“Credit to the boys because they showed great spirit to come back and I thought we passed the ball really well at times. We played some good stuff in the second half and on another day we could have won it.”
Annan manager Jim Chapman, unhappy about the red card, said: “The player who was sent off would have been marking the guy who scored. I’m gutted for the players because it looked like we were going to get all three points.”
