Binos boss Greig McDonald praised the quality of football that led to our second and third goals in Tuesday night’s 3-1 home win over Berwick Rangers.
Jordan White’s eighth-minute opener was cancelled out by Lee Currie early in the second half but a Steven Notman own goal and a fine finish from Ross Forsyth saw us claim victory to go second in League 2.
McDonald said: “The conditions made it a tough night to play good football but I thought the moves for our second and third goals were excellent.
“They were probably the only two bits of real quality in the game but our players deserve credit for digging out a result.
“I know we could have gone top if other results had gone our way but the important thing is that we are in the mix and that’s four home wins in a row now.”
Berwick manager Ian Little said: “We were poor in the first half and there didn’t seem to be any desire. We showed a great reaction in the second half and got the equaliser but we gave away bad goals.”
