Next game: Annan away
Stirling Albion head for Annan on Saturday to take on Jim Chapman’s side on the artificial pitch at Galabank.
The clubs are locked together on 20 points, with Annan above us on goal difference. East Stirlingshire, a point clear at the top, take on fourth-placed Clyde in what is a big weekend in League 2.
An injury-time goal from Kieran Brannan saw the Galabankies win 3-2 at home to Berwick on Saturday and they have scored more goals than anyone else in the division, although only Elgin and Queen’s Park have conceded more.
Ally Love and David Hopkirk were on target when Annan deservedly won 2-0 at Forthbank in mid-September but we came out on top on our last visit to Galabank in April thanks to Stephen Day’s early goal.
Admission prices are £10 adults, £5 seniors aged 65 and over, £5 for U16s and free entry for U12s accompanied by an adult.
