Stirling Albion make the short journey to Cumbernauld to face Clyde at Broadwood on Saturday. Both teams are locked together on 13 points, three behind leaders East Stirlingshire, but we have a game in hand on Clyde – at home to Albion Rovers on Tuesday night.
Jim Duffy’s side have lost just one of their last four matches, 3-0 at home to Montrose, while our only away league defeat this season was 4-0 at Elgin at the end of September. The Bully Wee’s home form has been mixed, with two victories and two losses so far.
Team news: Winger Stephen Day is available again after a one-match ban but forward David Weatherston remains sidelined with a hamstring injury and midfielder Kieran McAnespie is also still out. Clyde are without Iain Gray, who was sent off in last weekend’s 1-0 win over Berwick Rangers at Shielfield. Ryan Frances and John Sweeney are rated doubtful but Ryan MacBeth returns.
Last season: It was honours even, with two wins apiece. Clyde came out on top in the first two meetings while we prevailed at Forthbank in February and again at a freezing Broadwood on the last day of the season, coming from behind to triumph 2-1 with goals from Jordan White (penalty) and Ross McGeachie.
