Stirling Albion return to League 2 duty on Saturday for the first time since losing 4-0 at Elgin at the end of September when we welcome Montrose to Forthbank. We won 2-1 at Links Park on the opening day of the season with goals from Dale Fulton and Mark Ferry.
Team news: Stephen Day is suspended after being sent off in our recent Stirlingshire Cup win over East Stirling. David Weatherston remains sidelined due to the hamstring injury he picked up against Whitehill Welfare in the Scottish Cup a fortnight ago and Kieran McAnespie is rated doubtful.
Season so far: Montrose started with two defeats but are unbeaten in their last five League 2 outings and boss Stuart Garden was this week voted Manager of the Month for September. The Gable Endies have scored in every league game this season.
Last season: We won 3-1 at Forthbank in February and drew 2-2 at Links Park in April. Montrose won 3-1 here a year ago and claimed a 3-2 victory in December.
