Ferguson Park in the Midlothian village of Rosewell is the setting for our William Hill Scottish Cup second-round replay with Whitehill Welfare on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
It was 2-2 at Forthbank last weekend, with Stevie Mason equalising late on for Mickey Lawson’s men after Wayne McIntosh’s opener had been followed by goals from Kieran McAnespie and Jordan White.
The winners will be away to Highland League Turriff United, 4-2 winners over Wick Academy, in the third round of the competition on Saturday November 2.
Team news: Former Falkirk forward David Weatherston is likely to be out for a month after limping out of last week’s game with a hamstring injury and winger Stephen Day is doubtful due to a back problem. Whitehill Welfare are missing Kerr Dodds (injured) and John Hall (suspended).
Greig McDonald: “We will go there with an attitude and a determination to get into the next round. I thought that for a 20-minute spell at the start on Saturday we were well on top and their goal came against the run of play. We did well to get ourselves in front and began to dominate but the injury to David Weatherston disrupted the flow and an individual error let them back into it.”
