On behalf of the players at Stirling Albion, I would like to thank all the supporters who made the long journey to Elgin on Saturday at what was undoubtedly significant personal expense.
We would also like to apologise to those supporters. Not for losing the game – but for the manner in which we lost. We can assure you that the anger and frustration you felt from that performance was more than echoed by all of us in the dressing room. It was simply unacceptable.
The wonderful thing about football is that we have the opportunity to put that right, almost immediately, with our game against Whitehill Welfare on Saturday. We sincerely hope that you will come along in your usual fantastic numbers and help us in our efforts to reach round three of the Scottish Cup.
We would also be delighted if you would join us for a drink in the Supporters Bar after the game – hopefully toasting a Binos victory.
