Stirling Albion travel to Elgin on Saturday as we bid to extend our six-month unbeaten away league record.
We head north in fourth place in League 2, two points off the top, but the leading eight clubs are separated by only four points. Elgin is our last away game until we face Clyde at Broadwood on October 26.
Team news: Midfielder David McClune has recovered from an ankle injury and Ross McGeachie and Dale Fulton are fit again after picking up knocks last weekend. Goalkeeper Callum Reidford, who signed on for a second stint at Forthbank on Thursday night, is added to the squad. Elgin are without the suspended David Niven while Mark Nicolson and towering striker Paul Millar are injured.
This season: Elgin made a slow start to the campaign but are unbeaten in their last four matches, drawing with Peterhead, Montrose and Queen’s Park and beating Clyde. We’ve taken seven points from nine on our travels and are four points ahead of City.
Last season: Two stunning strikes from Kieran McAnespie gave us a 2-1 win on our last visit to Borough Briggs on March 2 but that was our only victory over Ross Jack’s team in 2012/13. We lost 3-1 away and 4-1 at home, with the most recent encounter ending 1-1 at Forthbank in April.
