Cowane’s Hospital recent open day managed to raise £1,500 towards the upkeep of the historic building.
The building, also known as Guild Hall, is located at the old Top of the Town in Stirling and this is where the family fun day took place. The charity has an ambitious target of raising £2.5 million for the building’s full restoration and the funds raised from various events being held help to keep the building open until they reach their target.
The fun day itself held on the 31st August was a great success and an enjoyable day for all who attended. Stirling Albion donated a signed top for the raffle in support of the event and Community Engagement Manager Andy Todd attended and helped out with a football target game that children could take part in.
