Stirling Albion return to action on Saturday when we welcome Annan Athletic to Forthbank.
We have won three games out of four so far in League 2 while Annan have also lost just once, 4-2 away to Berwick Rangers.
The Galabankies have notched up some notable results in the Ramsdens Cup, knocking out Morton and Stranraer before thrashing Formartine United 4-0 on Saturday to reach the semi-finals.
Jim Chapman’s summer signings included ex-Albion striker Scott Davidson and we look forward to seeing him at Forthbank again this weekend.
We had a good record against Annan last season, winning 5-1 and 2-1 at Forthbank and coming out on top 1-0 in the most recent encounter at Galabank in April thanks to an early Stephen Day goal. The only blip was a 5-2 defeat last November on a day when we finished with nine men.
Winger Phil Johnston is expected to return from injury while full-back Ross McGeachie, skipper Jamie Bishop and midfielder David McClune will be assessed at training.
Admission prices are £10 adults, £7 seniors/students and £5 U17s. Only the West Stand will be open and Annan fans should enter by turnstiles 3 & 4.
