Hosts Stirling Golf Club won the 2013 Stirling Albion Am-Am on Thursday with an excellent score of 125, three strokes ahead of their nearest challengers.
Club captain James Todd led his team of son James Todd Jnr, former captain Jim Kinnear and Robert Beaton to victory.
The event took place in scorching conditions with the course in fabulous condition. A total of 23 local businesses and organisations gave their support to the tournament.
At the prize giving, Colin Hunter of Stirling Albion Associates presented a cheque for £4,000 to Alan Christie, SAFC Finance Director. It is anticipated that when all monies are collected the total will top £5,000. A donation was also sent to MND Scotland.
Thanks are due to all of the sponsors, volunteer helpers, and Stirling Golf Club.
