Stirling Albion manager Greig McDonald has targeted a small number of quality signings after retaining the bulk of the players who performed so well in the second half of 2012/13.
We already have a 16-man squad, plus the manager and his assistant Marc McCulloch, under contract for the new campaign while six players left Forthbank following last week’s win at Clyde.
McDonald said: “We will be looking to add some new faces but the focus will be on quality rather than quantity as we’re in a good position squad-wise as it stands.
“I’m delighted we’ve managed to keep nearly all the guys we wanted for next season and we’re looking forward to working with these players, plus the new ones we add to the squad over the summer.
“Our young players have had a full season under their belts now and we’re particularly looking forward to seeing them continue their development and kick on next year.
“The players start back in mid-June and everybody on the playing staff would like to thank our supporters for their backing throughout the season and look forward to hopefully seeing you all next season.”
