Mark Ferry was delighted to reach double figures for the season when his late goal earned Stirling Albion a 1-0 win over Berwick Rangers in a tight game at Forthbank on Saturday.
The former Raith midfielder has netted seven times since the turn of the year and is hoping to continue his scoring spree when we face Queen’s Park in a crucial clash at Hampden on Tuesday.
He said: “I should have scored a few more at the start of the season but that’s me up to double figures now. It was a scrappy game on Saturday and it should probably have been a draw but it’s a massive win for us.
“We just want to keep this run going and see where it takes us. The boys are full of confidence at the moment. The experienced players who came in during January have made a difference and it’s a happy dressing room.”
