Binos boss Greig McDonald hailed his players after a terrific performance to earn a well-deserved 0-0 draw against Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday.
Jordan White had a header cleared off the line and Scott Davidson had a great chance before half-time as we made it just one defeat in four meetings with the runaway leaders this term.
McDonald said: “The players have done marvellously well against Rangers this season. We played some great stuff, and I thought we shaded it, but we shouldn’t complain about getting a point at Ibrox.
“People said we were trying to kick Rangers off the park (the last time we were here) but I hope Saturday showed that is not our style at all.
“We like to get the ball down and play. We did it at Forthbank on a cold, frosty Tuesday night, and we did it here as well.
“I’m delighted the players have shown that because they have got ability. We are not the hammer throwers that people painted the SFL players out to be.”
Rangers manager Ally McCoist said: “Our best chances were probably early on but after that it was just a frustrating 90 minutes.
“If we are going to take a positive, we have had a couple of clean sheets in the last two games but in terms of creating chances and taking chances, we are miles short of where we want to be.
“Stirling are a good side. They work hard and credit to them for their performance.”
