We are hoping to take our season out of cold storage on Tuesday evening when we welcome our local rivals East Stirlingshire to Forthbank for the first time in nine years. This fixture has already been postponed on December 1 and December 11 so hopefully conditions are kinder – although the weather forecast isn’t great!
Kick-off: Fans are reminded that’s it a 7.45pm start. Only the West Stand will be open and visiting supporters are requested to use turnstiles 3&4.
Team news: Gary Thom is suspended and new signing Ross Forsyth is unavailable but fellow new recruits David Crawford and Jamie Bishop could feature. Shire are missing Paul Quinn, Nathan Shepherd, Jordan Holt, Philip Zufle and Rhys Devlin.
Past meetings: The teams have not met at Forthbank since March 2004 when we triumphed 6-0 en route to promotion from Division Three. Shire came out on top 3-1 at Ochilview in September, when Scott Davidson was sent off, but we have not lost at home in this fixture since 1985. It was 1-1 at Ochilview on January 2 when Gary Thom was dismissed.
Match facts: We have not played since losing 2-1 at Clyde on January 12. We have won four and lost five of our nine home games. Shire have won two and lost seven on the road – their only draw away from home was 2-2 at Montrose on Saturday. We are five points behind John Coughlin’s team but have two games in hand.
Referee: Alan Newlands
Admission: £10 adults, £7 seniors/students, £5 children U17
Rangers tickets: On sale to home fans before the match, priced £13 adults, £10 seniors, £7 U17s.

Programme: The February issue of The Albion magazine will be available on Saturday but we will have a programme on sale at the Shire match, including a tribute to Binos fan Kevin Croall following his recent and untimely passing.
Twitter: For those not able to make it, we will have live updates @Stirling_Albion
Weather forecast: Cold! Bring a hat
