Peterhead are our visitors on Saturday for our final home fixture of 2012, in a match that was originally due to be played on Boxing Day but was brought forward with the agreement of the clubs.
We go into the game on a high following the 6-3 victory over Berwick while the Blue Toon travel south on the back of a 2-0 Balmoor win against Annan.
Jim McInally’s men are fourth in the table and are unbeaten on their own patch but their only away win so far was against Clyde in August and that match was played at Recreation Park as the new plastic pitch at Broadwood was not ready.
It was 2-2 at the end of October when we battled back from two down to earn a deserved draw thanks to goals from Jordan White and Josh Flood.
In terms of team news, defender Jamie Clark will again miss out due to injury and the game is likely to come too soon for Danny Ashe, although he got a run-out as a substitute in a bounce match on Tuesday night.
Jamie Bishop has returned to Forfar after his short-term loan spell ended but Jamie McCunnie and Marc McCulloch are back in the fold after illness and Daly McSorley is available following a one-match ban.
Admission prices are £10 for adults, £7 for seniors/students and £5 for U17s. Only the West Stand will be open – Peterhead fans are requested to use turnstiles 3/4.
Saturday’s referee is Gavin Duncan and kick-off is the usual 3pm.
