Full-back David McClune is set to return from the groin injury that saw him miss our 2-1 defeat at Queen’s Park on November 23.
The former St Johnstone, Alloa and Brechin defender was part of the side that stunned Rangers 1-0 at Forthbank on October 6 and is looking forward to this weekend’s trip to Ibrox.
The 29-year-old summer signing from Brechin said: “I trained last week and would have been able to play against East Stirling at the weekend but the extra time will help a few of the guys who have been out through injury and illness.
“I’ve been at Ibrox a couple of times before when I was at St Johnstone and I came on as a sub for Forfar in a League Cup tie in 2003/04 but unfortunately we lost 6-0.
“The good thing is that there is absolutely no pressure on us. Hopefully, we can produce a good performance and take confidence from that into the three home games against East Stirling, Berwick Rangers and Peterhead.”
